We treat our dogs like children.

They are a big part of us.  I don't even like it when they go

to the groomers because the house is so quiet without them.

I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Day 18

My stomach/weight

I have been doing Weight Watchers to try and loose some weight.

I know I don't need to loose a lot, but I just don't like my stomach.

My motivation is of course the wedding.  Even if I don't lose any

the dress will hide it, so that a good thing.I don't think anyone is every happy with

 their body, but I guess it could always be worse.

Day 17

Nursing School!

It is a love hate relationship.  Some days I love school and others I can't wait to be done.

I can finally say I know what I want to be when I grow up.  Come on August 2013.

I know right now graduation seems so far away, but I can say classes go by really fast.

I can't wait to be done with school and start working.

I either want to work in Labor and Delivery, ER, or with Children (I think).

Who knows after clinicals that may all change.  Joe has given me all the support I need for school.

He is even nice enough to not make me work full time until I am done with school.

I think I am pretty lucky to have him.

I know its not a picture of just her, but I love this picture of her with 2 of her great grandchildren.

She is one of the strongest women I know, she has always been there for me.

I would spend everyday after school and in the summer at her house while my mom worked.

No matter what my cousins or I did, I have never in my life heard her yell.

I don't think she has a mean bone in her body.  She would do anything for anyone.

I am very grateful that I got and still get to spend time with her.

I want to go to Hawaii, at least once.

It would probably be a place I would want to go again.

Day 14

This was an easy one.  I couldn't imagine my life without Joe.

He is always there for me when I need anything even if it is just to complain

(even though he really doesn't want to hear it)

I love him more than anything and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Day 13

A picture of my favorite band or artist

I have seen him once in concert and will be seeing him again real soon.

Second I would have to say Rascal Flatts.

I have seen them twice in concert and will see them again this summer.

I don't think they have a song that I don't like.  And they always put on a good show.

Confession Friday!

I confess that making bows and thank you cards are my new hobby.

I confess that I am disappointed in the Royal Wedding.  I guess it just wasn't what I thought it was going to be.

I confess  I am bad at letting Khaos jump on me when he shouldn't.

I confess I haven't walked all week (the weather hasn't helped).

I confess that I cleaned out the computer room and I don't have to be embarrassed to show it to people now.

I confess I am not ready to start class again on Monday.

I confess I still can't believe I got 100% on my research paper.

I wanted to show a picture of a bow I made (all by myself) for a birthday present.  I have made them for Christmas presents in the past and for some reason I never thought to make them for other presents.  Now I just need to get some different color ribbon so I can start making more.  I think I may have found a hobby that I like.  Let me know what you think!

Day 12

I love coach purses.  I use them until they start to fall apart.

Some people think I am crazy, but I never pay full price for one.

I can get them so much cheaper at the outlet mall.

I don't know what it is, but there is just something

about them that I love.

Day 11

I HATE spiders!! It doesn't matter low big or small

I hate them all.  It doesn't help that Joe hates them to.

Neither one of us even wants to get close enough to them to kill them.

I would be very happy in a world without spiders.

Easter

I had Easter at my house this year because I was on Ambulance crew and figured it would be easier just to have it here.  Poor Joe had to work, (at least he was making holiday pay).  I had my family and Joe's family here.  We had a good time with LOTS of food.  We did an Easter egg hunt inside since the weather has been so great here lately.  I don't think the kids really cared where they found the eggs at.  Everyone seemed to have a good time, I will post some pictures when I get them from my mom.

Day 10

This is suppose to be a picture of the person I do the most fucked up stuff with, but I can't think of a person for this.  It could be Joe, or Nikki, or someone from my past.  I can't say that I really do anything fucked up anymore.  I think I may have settled down some, but I am OK with that.  I am happy where I am in my life.

Day 9

I can't even imagine where I would be without my mom.

She is the person that I talk to at least everyday,

sometimes multiple times a day.

I love to spend time with my mom even if it is just sitting at the house.

I think I am lucky to have her for a mom (and to be the only daughter).

Day 8

Joe and I both like to go four wheeling.  We don't get to do it very often,

but we always have a good time when we go.

I like that I can wear sweat pants and no makeup and not have

 to worry about what I look like.

Hopefully we will get to go again soon.  With all the rain we have had we won't

have to worry about not having enough mud.

Day 7

My engagement ring!

I wear it everyday and I love everything about it.

Everyday I still find myself just looking at it.

I feel lost if I don't have it on, I can't wait till I get the wedding band to match.

Day 6

A person of a person I would love to trade places with for a day.

If I could trade places with anyone (and I had the body they do) I would

want to trade places with a Victoria's Secret model. I just don't think

they have that hard of a job, maybe I am wrong.

But I think I would give it a try.

Confession Friday

My friend told me about confession Friday, so I thought I would give it a try.

Ya I know it is kinda late on Friday, but better late than never.

I confess that I had my nephews stuff the Easter eggs that they are going to hunt on Sunday.

They have no clue.

I confess I am waiting till the last possible minute to clean my house before Easter.

I confess I am so ready for this bad weather to be over with.

I confess I am going to try and do some "Spring Cleaning" next week since

 I am on spring break from school.

I confess that I really want a new COACH purse. 

I have even had a dream about being in the coach store.

I am so ready for a trip to the outlet mall.

I confess that Mom and I finished making all the picture frames and

candy boxes for the wedding reception.

I think this is a good start for my confession Friday's.

 I love to go to Cardinal's games.  Thanks to my finace Joe we have season tickets and I get to go a lot.  I know I might be spoiled.  I have never been to a world series game, hopefully one day I will get to go.

Day 4

I know I cheated with this picture.  It is not from tonight, but I did spend it with my nephew.  He didn't want to go to his sister and brothers ball practice so he called his Mimi wanting to come here.  Of course I said yes.  We played playstation, watched a movie, and played fetch with the dogs.  My sister-in-law Nikki and my nephew Collin came and we met Joe and Nick at Happy Day's for some ice cream.

My Sister-in-law Nikki

Nikki came into my life my freshmen year of high school.  My brother and her got married in less than a week when they found out he was getting deployed to Iraq.  I didn't really know her when they got married, but she became my sister while he was gone.  We have became really close and don't know what I would do without her.  I can always call her anytime I need anything and she is always there.  She is going to be the Matron of Honor at my wedding. I can't wait to hear her speech (she doesn't like to talk in front of people), but I am sure it will be good.  I can't imagine my life without her.  I love you Nikki, thanks for always being there.

Day 1

Day 1

1.  I HATE spiders more than anything!

2.  I am going to school to be an RN.

3.  I have 2 dogs, Moose and Maggie that are treated like our children (Joe has a police dog that I try to treat the same when I can).

4.  Joe doesn't like any of the TV shows that I like.

5.  I like to cook, I just never know what to make.

6.  I have never cut grass in my life (I don't think I should start now).

7.  I like to take the dogs for walks in the park, but I hate to pick up their poop.

8.  I hate cleaning house or doing laundry.

9.  I don't know what I would do without my Family or Friends!

10.  I can't wait till Joe and I get married.

My First Post!!

Ok, I am going to give this a shot.  I thought doing a blog about planning for the wedding and what is going on in our lives would be an easy way for everyone to keep up with us. 

Of course Joe works non stop, between the Police Department, Cencom, Lindenwood, EMS, and Class, oh and now cutting grass, there is not a lot of time left to do much. 

I am going to school Full time for Nursing, I am almost done with my first year.  I start my Nursing classes this fall and can't wait.  The sooner I start Nursing classes the sooner I will be done all together.

 We or should I say I have been planning most of the wedding.  Joe pretty  much agrees with whatever I want.  We have the church, hall, photographer, DJ, photobooth, chair covers, table decorations all booked.  I found my wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses, still have to figure out what the flower girls are going to wear.  My mom and I have got a good start on making the candy boxes and picture frames for the wedding reception.  The only big thing we have left to do is pick out a cake and flowers, but we still have plenty of time.  Sorry if this was boring, I will try to make my next post better.

And please keep your fingers crossed for me that my brother Josh will get to come home for my wedding.  I am not going to get my hopes up, but I am keeping my fingers crossed!!
