Weekend Wrap up/ First Day at Work

I have to say that I had an awesome weekend.  It started with Joe and I hanging out at our favorite neighbors house.  We found this explorer online that we both liked and we had been talking about getting a new vehicle.  Joe started crunching numbers to see where it would put us every month if we bought a new vehicle.  After looking he said if they can get it in our price range we can get the explorer.  I was really excited, but didn't want to get my hopes up just in case it didn't work out.  So Saturday morning we got up early and went to breakfast and then off to the car dealership.  Joe's dad and the neighbors went with us to look.  We found the explorer that we found online and once we seen it we knew that was not the one for us, it had chips in the paint scratches and a dent in it.  It was a 2013, I can't believe they are trying to sell it like that....anyway while Joe and I went to test drive the explorer, Joe's dad and Cody went with another sales person "behind the fence" to look at other vehicles.  Once we got back from the test drive we both knew we really wanted a explorer.  We went and found Rick and Cody (Ginny was along too, it was a little cold for her).  We found them looking at a 2011 explorer.  Cody said he couldn't find anything wrong with it and once Joe and I both looked at it be both loved it.  The salesmen didn't even know the price of it because it had only been on the lot for two days.  So after Joe working his magic and getting the numbers to come out right, we are the proud owners of Ruby!  Joe is even letting me drive it everyday, hands down the BEST husband around!!!

Isn't she pretty!?!
After we spent most of the day at the dealership and showing her off to our families we got to go to Joe's all time favorite place  The St. Louis Blues game.  And to top it off they kicked some major butt, hopefully that is just a sign of what the rest of the season is going to be like.  Can't wait to go to more games (especially since I finally got a jersey).
Today was my first day at my new job, I was excited to start and a little nervous too.  The day was great, the company bought my department and myself lunch since it was my first day.  There is so much to do that it makes the day go by really fast, I am actually looking forward to going back tomorrow.  Hope everyone had a good weekend.  I can't wait to see how the rest of the work week goes.

Its OK!

Its Ok...
... that I feel like my blog is lame compared to all the other blogs I read
...that I haven't been to the grocery store since I can't even remember
...thatI have so many things I want to try and do from pinterst but I haven't tried any yet
...that I started weight watchers on Monday and I still want to eat bad foods, but I haven't.  It better pay off with the scale tomorrow
...if my dogs sleep all day and all night, that's part of being a pet right
...that I just now ordered some of the pictures from my wedding in prints...its never to late right? have a netflix movie for a couple months and still haven't watched it
...that this is my first "its ok" I don't think I did half bad.
One more day closer to the weekend.  I get to see my friend that I haven't seen in a long time tomorrow.  Can't wait to get together with her again.

Oh, How Pinteresting

Here is my first link up!
I love this and would like to put this or something similar above our headboard. We just have the big open wall right now.

I started back on Weight Watchers on Monday and going to the gym. I wanna make these, because they look amazing. I just hope they taste as good as they look.

In our next house I want to have a wash like this in our laundry room.  It would make it way easier to give the dogs a bath then trying to put them in the bath tub.
I am working on growing my hair out and then I want to try and see if I can get my hair to be curly like this
I don't know if we will ever have a dog house like this but I think it is a cool looking dog house.
I want to make it ranch dressing.  The whole jar is only 255 calories in the whole jar.  I think I could eat a lot more of this ranch then the bottled stuff.
This would be a way better way to keep the cards from our wedding then in the gift bag where they are now.  How I just need to get a little crafty and put them all together.
So here is my first link up with another blog.  I didn't do it exactly like your suppose to, but for some reason I couldn't figure out how she did it, so I did it my own way.  Have a good Hump Day, the week is half over.

Weekend Wrap Up

Joe and I had a good weekend.  We went out to dinner Friday night with friends to Margaritas.  We had to stay in town because I was on call.  Joe got to spend some guy time with his friends after dinner.  I got lucky and didn't have any calls Friday night.  Saturday mom called me to meet her for lunch.  We went to one of my favorite places, The Thai House.  If you haven't been there before you should really try it.  Joe did a great job and took all our Christmas decorations down from the outside of the house and then put everything in the attic.
Saturday night we went out with our good friends "The Neighbors."  We went to The Melting Pot.  It was our first time there.  We both really liked it.  I could go there and just eat the dessert.  We both want to go back again, but because of the price it won't be a place we go to very often.
Sunday was Joe's sister Heather's baby shower.  Everything turned put perfect.  She got so much stuff for the baby.  Not sure what else she is going to need.  While the girls were at the baby shower the guys went to Hooters for the diaper party.  I was glad to be part of the shower and can't wait for the baby to get here.    Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Happy Birthday Moose!

I know I know I might be a little crazy but today is Moose's birthday. He is 5 today. It's hard to believe I have had him 5 years. He has brought Joe and I a lot of happiness and there are times he drives us crazy. Moose has decided that he will not do his "business" outside unless it is between 65 and 80 degrees. Every once in a while he will surprise us and go outside. If anyone has any tips to break his habit...please let me know. He is a great dog and we wouldn't trade him for the world. Happy Birthday Moose!!! Mom and Dad love you bunches!

Need Ideas/ New Year's Eve

Where does everyone get ideas to write about.  I like posting but I never know what I should write about.  All the other blogs that I read talk about their kids, well Joe and I don't have any kids and I don't think you want to hear about our dogs every week.  If anyone has suggestions for things I can write about let me know.

Joe and I had a good New Year's Eve, we went to our neighbors house.  There was great food and good conversation.  Joe was the winner of the weight loss challenge we were in.  He won 205 bucks.  I wish I could lose weight like he does.  I am excited to see what the new year brings for us.  I can't wait to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together.  Hopefully I will be able to find a job in 2013.  Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year's.

Back in action!

It has been forever and a day since the last time i posted.  I am ready to get back into blogging.  Since May I am happy to say I am now MARRIED!!! Joe and I got married on May 26th.  It was the best day possible.  Everything was perfect I couldn't have asked for a better day.  We went on our honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  We are both ready to go back again.  I am no longer in nursing school, long story short nursing school didn't work out for me.  I am currently taking classes at Lindenwood University for a Business Administration degree.  I am very happy going to Lindenwood and I am not near as stressed like I was with nursing school.  I have been looking for a full-time job since the beginning of September....I have gone on a few interviews but for some reason I am always the number 2 person.  I'm hoping with the new year things will look up and I will finally get a job.  Sorry this is short, just wanted to give an update on what has been going on.  I plan on blogging a lot more in the new year.  I hope everyone had a good Christmas.
Here is one of the pictures from our wedding, you wouldn't know it from the picture, but it was hotter than hell that day.
